acquaintance
i may start here with a little about myself. yet, some things tell me that i mustn't. yet, i don't know.
this is me. i am a person who has an unfixed mind. i may shift into another idea in just a blink of an eye. i am proud of myself. though i am like this, people still appreciate me.

i have grown up to be the best person that i can be. this is because my parents molded me into this by their undying love and care for me. they nurtured me from when i was a newborn infant until the present. i don't know what i would be today if they had never took care of me. they send to school for me to learn and be prepared for the battles that i will encounter in my life. the school is my second home.

i am currently a fourth year high school student in the university of the philippines high school in cebu. up is not a school where the buildings are built high. it only has one level. it only has eight classrooms, two of which are for each year level. the sections for each year level are bartlett, villamor, benton. palma, sison, bocobo, gonzalez, and tan. i belong to 4-Gonzalez. our campus may be small, yet i offers a lot to us- the iskolars ng bayan. it offers quality education.

being a fourth year student, i can't help but think that in a few months, iskolar batch 06-07 would be leaving the campus for college. but even if we would be going away, it won't mean that we will forget the priceless experiences we had together in our high school lives. it won't mean that we will forget the campus that we learned to love and cherish for 4 solid years! we won't forget each family day that we would be under the sun, performing for our families. we won't forget each intramural week that we give all what we have to win in our own sport. we won't forget each time we have our christmas party- the fun we get by celebrating together the birth of jesus. we won't forget each enrollment day that we would be excited in lining up to be enrolled for the schoolyear. we won't forget that every KYSD (Know Your School Day) that we give our mentors a chance of rest from teaching by being substitute teachers. we won't forget each time we would be pleading our teachers to sign our clearances even if it takes a lot of time. sweet memories, such sweet memories. but the thing that we won't certainly forget- the time that we all knew each other in a little part of our lives.

guys, we would be going on our separate ways. but even if we are miles away from each other, don't forget the time that we all begged that the GFU-959 white car won't be around. thanks for everything guys! i appreciate knowing you for 4 years.

as time passes, i hope all 65 of us would be able to come on our batch reunion.

Good day, Dan. I would like to comment on your capitalizations. Did you purposely type the I (as pronoun) on smaller case? Each sentence also starts with small letters. I can also see the typographical errors. The "it" was typed as "i".

yes, i purposely typed the whole post in lowercase. though this is an english subject related blog, i can't help typing in lowercase because it bothers me when i have to press on the 'shift' button. but if it bothers you that much, i'll make sure that in my next post i would type it in correct cases. i'm sorry to that i typed yet i offers in the third paragraph. don't worry, i'll be vigilant next time.

thanks kim for the comment.

Hello, Dan! Thanks for your email and congratulations on your blog and its first entry.

Writing about your feelings about your high school life is rather sweet of you. While I was reading your blog, I was reminiscing my own high school days.

You already told me by email about your hatred for the Shift key on the keyboard. So, I'm going to forego ranting about why you disobeyed the rules on proper capitalization--for now. I'll dwell this time on the grammatical and usage lapses. Kimberly has pointed out one (i.e., "i" for "it" in the second-to-the-last sentence of the third paragraph), but you were quick to admit it was a typo.

See if you can identify the problems in these sentences:

i don't know what i would be today if they had never took care of me.

they send to school for me to learn and be prepared for the battles that i will encounter in my life.

...i can't help but think that in a few months, iskolar batch 06-07 would be leaving the campus for college.

we won't forget that every KYSD (Know Your School Day) that we give our mentors a chance of rest...

as time passes, i hope all 65 of us would be able to come on our batch reunion.

I'll be at your batch reunion--if I get invited. :-)

Have fun blogging, and please do feel free to post more.

I don't know if these have no errors, but here are the corrections that I have found found to be erroneous in my blog:

a.)I don't know what I would be today if they had never taken care of me.

b.) They sent me to school to make me learn and be prepared for the battles that I will encounter in my life.

c.) I can't help but think that in a few months, iskolar batch 06-07 will be leaving the campus for college.

d.) We won't forget that every KYSD (Know Your School Day), we give our mentors a chance to rest...

e.) As time passes, I hope all 65 of us would be able to come to our batch reunion.

Hoping that this would have no errors, I'll end this comment now.
